Introduction to Dazang Longhua Temple: Dazang Longhua Temple is located at No. 23 on the northern edge of Houhai, Shichahai. The temple faces north and south, with a mountain gate, main hall and east and west side halls on the central axis.
The temple was built in the Ming Dynasty. During the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed Xinhua Temple. It was the lower courtyard of Nianhua Temple, also known as Xiaolonghua Temple. In the late Qing Dynasty, it was the family temple of the regent Zaifeng. It is now used by the child care department of Beihai Kindergarten.
