Introduction to Soong Ching Ling’s Former Residence: Soong Ching Ling’s Former Residence is located at No. 46, North Bank of Houhai. It was originally the garden of the Regent’s Palace of Prince Chun Zaifeng and is now a national key protection unit.
The original buildings in the garden include "Haoliang Fun" in the front, "Changjinzhai" in the back hall, "Tingliuxuan" in the side hall, "Flower Viewing Room" in the east hall, and "Enbo Pavilion", which are connected by hand curved corridors. There is a "South Tower", a "Pavilion" and a "Tingyu House" built on the rockery; the lake in the garden is called Nanhu.
The main building in the garden is a two-story Chinese and Western-style building built in 1962. Soong Ching Ling lived here from 1963 to May 29, 1981.
