Introduction to Shaoshi Que: Shaoshi Que is a Shinto temple of Shaoshi Mountain Temple in the Han Dynasty. It was built from about the fifth year of the Yuan Dynasty to the second year of Yanguang (118-123) in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is similar to Taishi Que and Qimu Que here. It is also known as the "Three Ques of Zhongyue and Han Dynasties".
The Shaoshi Palace is relatively complete. The structures of the east and west towers are basically the same. The two towers, one in the south and the other in the north, face each other. The east tower is 3.37 meters high, and the west tower is 3.75 meters high. The distance between the two towers is 6.75 meters. The North Tower is carved with the inscription "Shaoshi Shinto Tower" in seal script, while most of the official script inscriptions on the South Tower have peeled off and are unrecognizable.
The walls of the palace are surrounded by more than sixty colored paintings carved using the subtractive carving method. The main contents of these paintings include carriages and horses, circuses, elephant taming, moon palaces and animal patterns.
