Introduction to the Presidential Palace Library: The Presidential Palace Library is a three-story Western-style building built in 1929. It was originally the office building of the National Government Staff Headquarters. Later, it should be used as the library of the National Government and the Presidential Palace. It mainly preserves the communiqués of the National Government (Presidential Palace) printed over the years, as well as important archives such as the Chairman's (President's) handwritings. In 1949, all the presidential palaces were taken away when they evacuated Nanjing.
