Introduction to Tiandi Square: The ancient emperors set up a round altar at the top of Mount Tai to worship the sky, and then set up a square altar at the bottom of the mountain to worship the earth, to show that "the sky is round and the place is round". Tiandi Plaza covers a total area of 35,000 square meters. It mainly includes square squares and circular squares (the square square has a side length of 36 meters and an area of more than 1,000 square meters; the circular square has a diameter of 108 meters and an area of more than 10,000 square meters, all paved with Taishan granite). On both sides of the square connecting the passage, 12 dragon pillars with a height of 7.2 meters and a diameter of 0.9 meters are placed, indicating that 12 emperors from Qin Shihuang to Emperor Qianlong offered sacrifices to Mount Tai. In the center of the connecting passage, a 27-meter-long and 3-meter-wide relief sculpture with the content of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty sealing Mount Tai was placed.
