Introduction to Zhulin Temple: In the west valley of Mount Tai, above the Black Dragon Pond and northeast of today's Changshou Bridge, there was originally a temple called Zhulin Temple, also known as Xuanyun Temple. The scenery here is pleasant. The temple is surrounded by green bamboos, lush pines and cypresses, gurgling streams and winding paths. The scenery is very beautiful. It has the reputation of "the path runs along the mountain, is surrounded by clear streams, twists and turns, and the scenery changes with each step". It is said that Zhulin Temple is an ancient temple in Mount Tai. The year of its construction is unknown, and it has been built and abandoned many times since the Tang Dynasty. According to records, during the Yuanzhen period of the Yuan Dynasty, the Zhulin Temple was rebuilt by Fahai, a famous monk in the Yuan Dynasty, and its reputation spread far and wide, so much so that it "resulted in Qilu in the east, Youyan in the north, Zhao Wei in the west, and a large river in the south. Everyone followed the trend." By the Ming Dynasty , Goryeo's famous monks built many buildings, and the temple became more prosperous. Xiao Xiezhong, a scholar in the late Ming Dynasty, once described the beautiful environment of Zhulin Temple: "The path is along the mountain, with clear streams and winding sheep intestines, and the scenery changes with every step. When you arrive at the temple, you will see towering bamboo trees, red cherry blossoms all over the ground, morning bells and evening bells, and the other side is desolate. "When Yang Zhixue visited Zhulin Temple in the Ming Dynasty, he wrote a poem: "In the west, there is a spring in the middle of the mountain. The clouds are moving every day, and Li Bai's poem is flying. The sunset is beautiful and the breeze is cool. Blowing Guangyuan”. Houzhulin Temple was burned down in a fire and was rebuilt on the original site in the style of the Tang Dynasty.
