Introduction to Hongmen Palace: Hongmen Palace is the starting point for climbing Mount Tai. It is named because there are two red doors on the northwest cliff, which are shaped like door leaves. It is located in the northwest of Queen Mother Pond at the southern foot of Mount Tai. There are three stone squares built in front of the palace: "Tiantian Gate", "Confucius's Landing Place", and "Tianshi Steps"; the palace is divided into two courtyards, the east and west, and the main hall in the east courtyard with three rooms. It was originally a Taoist palace, and later it was dedicated to Maitreya Buddha, commonly known as Maitreya Buddha. In the hall, there are three passing pavilions and three dressing pavilions each; there are three main halls in the west courtyard, which are dedicated to Bixia Yuanjun, the goddess of Mount Tai. The high pavilion between the two courtyards is called "Feiyun Pavilion". The upper pavilion is an arch, and the climbing passage passes through it. The entire palace is dripping with green holly, gorgeous peonies, set among red and green, and full of ancient charm; looking up from a distance, you can have a panoramic view of the Tai'an scenery.
