Introduction to Anfeng Pond: Anfeng Pond is located 30 kilometers south of Shouxian County. The pond has a circumference of 25 kilometers, an area of 34 square kilometers, and a water storage capacity of 100 million cubic meters. There are 19 water release culverts and an irrigated area of 930,000 acres. It is one of the four famous water conservancy projects in ancient my country (Anfeng Pond, Zhanghe Canal, Dujiangyan, Zhengguo Canal) and is known as the "No. 1 Pond in China".
The ancient name of Anfeng Pond was Shaopi. It was built by Sun Shuao, Prime Minister of Chu, during the Spring and Autumn Period. It has a history of more than 2,500 years and is the earliest large-scale Po Pond irrigation project in the history of water conservancy in my country. The environment of Anfeng Pond is fresh and elegant. It is surrounded by thousands of fertile fields and canals. The pond is surrounded by green willows, the water and sky are the same color, and the waves are vast. The elegant Qingfeng Pavilion is dotted on the flat waves, blooming with flowers in all seasons. The islands in the pond complement each other and form a picture of Fenglaixian Pavilion.
