Introduction to the old site of the Prefecture Office: The old site of the Prefecture Office is located on the east street of the county seat. The Shouzhou Prefecture Office was located here during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The building was first built in the early Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. Luo Xun, the prefect of Tianshun, rebuilt it on the old site. Since the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, It has been renovated and expanded several times, and there are many halls, towers, squares, pavilions and stone houses.
In the old days, the wall of the state office was nearly square, with the lobby in the middle on the central axis. In front of the hall was "Renshoufang", and the Cao administration rooms of officials, households, rituals, soldiers, punishments and workers were arranged in the east and west sequence; in front was "Yimen" and "Yimen" The former is "Qiao Tower". There are two wells facing each other between the gate and the building, one is "Ji Kequan" and the other is "Qingshu Spring"; on both sides are the Tu Tu Temple in the east and the "Prison Gate", "Prison God Temple" and "Old Hao" in the west; Qiao Tower There is a screen wall in front, and there are two doors at both ends of the screen wall, called "Shouyu" in the east and "Chun Terrace" in the west; behind the lobby and to the north are the second hall, the house door, the upper room, and finally the Xichuntai. Qiao Tower, Xichuntai, Liangquan and some tablets still exist today, which are precious materials for studying the customs and culture of Shoudi.
