Introduction to Shimen Lake: Shimen Lake is located in Nantang Village, Wang Town, Bagong Mountain District. There are "big rocks and gravel, similar to the ferocious gate", which is one of the natural landscapes of Bagong Mountain. Ancient county annals record that Yuntiao Mountain and Yinxi Mountain face each other to form a stone gate, 20 feet high, facing west to north and south, with a pool in the middle, 10 feet in diameter and three feet deep. The water in the pool never dries up all year round. There is the "Yi Arrow Valley" in Shimen, a basin embraced by mountains. The inscriptions on Shimen Lake and the Xiyunquan Pavilion are nestled among clusters of peach trees. Legend has it that this was the camp where Zhao Kuangyin was trapped in Shouzhou and stationed troops in the later Zhou Dynasty. The ancient battlefield of war and sinking sand.
