Introduction to Redui Temple: In the 3rd century AD (about 205 AD), it was founded by Ruwa, the attendant of Pousang Lindui. It belongs to the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. The temple mainly enshrines Labasoba Buddha. The representative living Buddha is Redui. The second generation of the temple has long followed the ancient times (there is no living Buddha now). Redui Temple is located in Redui Village, Niedang Township, Qushui County, about 2 kilometers northwest of National Highway 318. It is directly accessible from Lagon Highway (Airport Highway). It is 21 kilometers away from the capital Lhasa and 41 kilometers away from the county seat. Redui Temple was restored and opened in 1981, and the building is well preserved. The temple is the host temple for the annual "Jiang Gongqu" Dharma Assembly. This Dharma Assembly is currently the largest Tibetan Buddhist Dharma assembly in my country. It has great influence at home and abroad and has a high status among religious believers. The main content is to recite sutras, test the Buddhist attainments of monks, and obtain degrees. Every year, a large number of domestic and foreign Protestants come here to visit Buddhism.
