Introduction to the Nu River: The Nu River, also known as the Lu River, with its upper reaches called "Nagqu River" in Tibetan, originates from Jirepaige at the southern foot of the Tanggula Mountains on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Most of the mountains on both sides of the Nu River are over 3,000 meters high. The mountains are high and the valleys are deep, and the sound of the water is like roaring, hence the name.
