Introduction to Dadan Mingjiupo Chapter: Dadan Mingjiupo Chapter is located in the north of the Norbulingka East District Palace Garden. It means the Eternal Palace. It was specially built for the 14th Dalai Lama and is commonly known as the New Palace.
The murals in the New Palace are rich in content and lifelike. The murals in the South Hall run from west to north and express a brief history of Tibet in the form of comic strips. The entire picture is lively, harmonious in color, and has a unique national style. The "Sakyamuni Lectures" picture in the Sutra Hall on the west side of the North Hall is also a rare artistic masterpiece.
