Introduction to Tsogye Phodrang: "Tsogye Phodrang" means "Lake Center Palace". It is the central building in the eastern part of the Norbulingka Palace and was built during the period of the eighth Dalai Lama. The Lake Center Palace is the most beautiful place in Norbulingka. The main buildings include the Lake Center Palace and the Dragon Palace. The Dalai Lama often meets and entertains monks and lay officials here.
