Introduction to Samye Temple: Samye Temple, known as the "first temple in Tibet", is the first temple in Tibet to ordain monks and become monks. It was built in the 8th century AD during the Tubo Dynasty. The architecture in the temple combines Tibetan, Han and Indian styles, so it is also called the Three Kinds Temple. The temple collects and preserves Tibetan history, religion, architecture, murals, sculptures and other heritages from various periods since the Tubo Dynasty.
