After the Gangpai Highway (Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon Overland Road) was opened to traffic, there are several buses in and out of Pai every day on August 1st. They stop at the entrance of the Post Hotel and leave when they are full. It usually takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Pai Town. In Pai Town, you can take the sightseeing car provided in the scenic area to the Namjagbarwa Observation Deck.
