Introduction to Rinqinbeng Temple: Rinqinbeng Temple is the largest temple in Medog, located on Zemala Mountain in the south of Medog Village. The temple was built shortly after Menba moved east. It is said that it was built by Gampo, the living Buddha of Gampo Temple. It was originally a three-story stone and wood structure with 12 walls and four doors in the east, west, north and south. There are many gold-plated copper Buddha statues inside. It was destroyed by an earthquake in 1950 and later rebuilt into two buildings with east and west gates.
