Island introduction: Yanghu Lake is also a rich natural "fish bank". There are many plankton in the lake and rich bait. Every summer, fish swim from deep water to shallow water to feed and lay eggs, almost with bare hands. After catching it, and because Tibetans don’t eat fish, this place has become a paradise for fish. The lake is rich in plateau naked carp, whose meat is tender and delicious. The fish reserves can reach more than 800 million kilograms, and it is known as the "Tibet Fish Bank". In addition, Yanghu Lake also has the largest artificial breeding fishery in Tibet, which mainly breeds plateau schizothorax and plateau naked carp. There are many wild animals around Yanghu Lake and on the small islands in the lake. There are snow pigs on the surrounding mountains at an altitude of 5,000 meters, and occasionally wild sheep and foxes are encountered on the grassy beaches. There are 21 large and small islands in the lake. Various migratory birds live on the islands, making it the largest waterfowl habitat and wild bird paradise in Tibet. There are everything from yellow ducks, swans, egrets, sand gulls, etc. The sight of thousands of white waterbirds flying over the lake is very strange and spectacular.
