Introduction to the Guangdong Guild Hall: The Guangdong Guild Hall was founded on January 14, the 33rd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1907 AD). Its main purpose was that when Guangdong businessmen first arrived in Tianjin, they could settle down in the Guild Hall as soon as possible. Then use the guild hall as a platform to seek development. In 1919, Deng Yingchao and her Tianjin Patriotic Female Comrade Association performed a play here to raise funds for refugees; in 1925, the Tianjin Federation of Trade Unions was also established here. Today, a plaque inscribed by Deng Yingchao can still be seen in front of the courtyard gate.
