Introduction to Ye Shuai’s former residence: Ye Jianying’s former residence is located at the foot of Huxing Mountain in Yanyang Town. It is an ordinary Hakka folk farmhouse built in the Qing Dynasty. Ye Jianying was born and spent her childhood and adolescence here.
The former residence courtyard is located in the northeast and faces southwest, with an existing construction area of 350 square meters and a total of 15 houses, 4 of which are owned by Ye Shuai’s family. The first one on the right is the kitchen, and the second one is the bedroom of Ye Shuai’s parents. , the portraits of Ye Shuai's parents hang on the wall, and the bedroom is equipped with classical-style wooden beds, wooden tables, wooden chairs, etc. The two rooms in the back corner on the left are Ye Shuai's boyhood bedroom and study room respectively.
