Introduction to the University President’s Hall: The University President’s Hall covers an area of 525 square meters, with a construction area of 1,050 square meters. It is a brick-concrete structure built in the 1940s with a two-story, two-horizontal courtyard style. Hakka traditional residential buildings.
The museum mainly introduces and displays the life stories, academic achievements and main contributions of Meizhou university presidents and secretaries at home and abroad since the late Qing Dynasty. It is divided into Marshal Ye Jianying and Education, Academician Presidents, Well-known University Presidents, General College Presidents, Party Schools There are 24 exhibition rooms in eight parts including principals of cadre training colleges, principals of adult colleges and universities, principals of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas colleges, and a brief history of Meizhou’s education development. A total of 228 university presidents were displayed, including 103 full-time presidents, 83 deputy presidents, 10 academician presidents, 12 presidents of party schools and cadre training colleges, and 19 presidents of adult colleges and universities.
