Introduction to Taiping Rock: Taiping Rock is located at the west foot of Duxiu Peak, formerly known as Xiyan. It is 2.9 meters high, 4.25 meters wide, 31.5 meters long, and covers an area of 140 square meters. It reaches Snow Cave in the north. The cave contains a statue of Liu Haichan painted by Zhu Bangning, the king of Gonghui, and is commonly known as Liu Hai Cave. During the redevelopment during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty (1522-1566), a "Taiping Tongbao" coin was dug out, so it was named "Taipingyan".
The Taipingyan rock mass is like a spacious house with a very flat ground and colorful stalactites hanging on the top of the rock. The king of the Ming dynasty planted flowers and trees in front of the rock, built pagodas and nunneries, erected statues of gods in the cave, and engraved many clan poems on the cave wall.
