Introduction to the Sutra Collection Building: The Sutra Collection Building was originally the place where Chen Fang Sutras were collected. On the roof of the building are the sculptures of Sun Wukong, Tang Monk, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing in "Journey to the West". The walls on the first floor are embedded with scriptures from the "Vajra Prajna Paramita Sutra" (dated to Zen Buddhism), as well as calligraphy inscriptions by Dong Qichang (1555-1636, a native of Songjiang, Shanghai, an outstanding calligrapher and painter in the Ming Dynasty) and others.
