Introduction to the Life Release Pool: In the West Garden, the largest area is the Life Release Pool. The release pond is tadpole-shaped, with the head in the south, the tail in the north, and curved to the southeast. The water circled the garden, and then led directly from the lower part of Luohan Hall to the Xiangji Pond in front of the main hall. It made nine twists and turns, sometimes in the light, sometimes in the dark, and then extended to the back of the warehouse. The ingenious construction and wide water surface are rare among domestic temples.
