Introduction to the patrol room: Located northwest of the British Consulate, it is the highest administrative agency set up by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to manage the concession. It is actually the colonial government of the "country in transit". It houses police, fire management, public works, finance, Chinese and other departments. The three-story building has a brick and wood structure and is in the shape of a rectangular "concave", 22 meters long and 11 meters wide. It has the same architectural style as the British Consulate.
