Introduction to Fa Ru Hall: Fa Ru Hall was formerly known as the Mahavira Hall, Sakyamuni Hall, and Great Buddha Hall. It was rebuilt due to a fire during the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty. The current hall was rebuilt in 1983, with three rooms each in width and depth. There are 41 steps in front of the hall. There are three ancient ginkgo trees towering into the clouds on the side of the door. They are the tallest and most magnificent buildings in Guangjiao Temple. The Dharma Hall houses a jade statue of Sakyamuni donated by Taiwanese believers. The east, west and north walls are inlaid with pictures of eighteen eminent monks painted by Nantong painter Fan Zeng. The plaque in the lobby reads "Ten Fingers Form a Forest" as "Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou". Written by Zheng Banqiao.
Behind the Dharma Hall are the abbot's room, sutra storage building, sutra drying building and other buildings.
