Introduction to Codrington College: Codrington College is the oldest seminary in the Western Hemisphere. It was built in 1702 according to the wishes of Christopher Codrington. It was originally a plantation mansion. It was later gifted to religious orders and eventually became a seminary, which was opened to the public in 1745. Now, the college has collapsed and only ruins remain, but some lines of poetry carved on the edge of the swimming pool have been fortunately preserved.
