Introduction to Hemingway’s former residence: Hemingway’s former residence is located in the suburbs of San Francisco de Paula, about 15 kilometers southeast of Old Havana. The name of the manor is Finca de Vigia (Vicia Manor) ). The estate was built in 1887, and Hemingway lived here from 1940 to 1961. Many important works were also written here. At present, the former residence still retains the appearance as it was when Hemingway lived there, including books and magazines everywhere, and a living room ready to receive friends at any time. The fishing boat used by Hemingway when he went to sea is still preserved in the pavilion of the garden.
