Introduction to the themed statue: Facing north and facing south, it is carved from granite and is 3.7 meters high. The total height including the base is 6.8 meters. It depicts the female Red Army soldier wearing straw sandals and carrying a bamboo hat on her shoulders. The spirit is fully demonstrated. There is a golden inscription by Hu Yaobang on the front of the base of the statue: Red Detachment of Women. The back of the base is engraved with the following text: The Red Detachment of Women is the Women’s Special Agent Company of the Second Independent Division of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army.
