Introduction to the Nobel Museum: The Nobel Museum was opened to the public in the spring of 2001 and was built by the Greek historian Giorgos Marcou. The museum's 3,500 collections were collected by the Marcoux family from all over the world, including letters written by Victor Hugo to Nobel, maps of Russian oil fields, and share certificates of explosives factories, among other interesting items.
