Keel introduction: Since 1984, a folk archaeological activity in Sweden discovered the wreckage of the "Gothenburg I" sleeping on the seabed, and work to explore this famous merchant ship has begun one after another. The laying of the keel in June 1995 marked the beginning of the actual shipbuilding process. Between 1996 and 1998, the ship's frame was assembled and the hull gradually formed. On May 22, 2005, its first sea trial was launched.
