Introduction to Yanju Temple: Yanju Temple is located at the end of the middle road. It was built in the 38th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1610). It is a place dedicated to the shrine of Confucius in Donglin Academy. After it was destroyed in the late Ming Dynasty, the Qing Dynasty In the twelfth year of Shunzhi (1655), Wuxi Gao Shitai rebuilt it, and now the main building and the gates of "Yanju" and "Holy City" are now there.
The Yanju Temple is a typical architectural style of the Ming Dynasty. It is elegant and simple, and does not like carvings. There are several tables in the temple dedicated to the most sage teacher Confucius, and on both sides there are also worshipers to Mencius, Zengzi, Yanzi and Zisi.
