Introduction to the Girondin Column: Place Plum Blossom is located on the bank of the Garonne River at the northern end of the old city of Bordeaux. It was built in 1820 and covers an area of ​​126,000 square meters. It is one of the largest squares in Europe. The Gironde Column (COLONNE DES GIRODINS) in the center of the square is the symbol of Bordeaux. The top of the column is the Statue of Liberty, the middle is a 50-meter-high exquisite decorative relief, and the lower part is an exquisite fountain statue.
