Introduction to Shandan Grand Buddha Temple: Shandan Grand Buddha Temple, formerly known as "Tufo Temple", was first built in the Northern Wei Dynasty (425 AD). Zhu Qizhen, Emperor Yingzong of the Ming Dynasty, personally inscribed a plaque "Tufo" on the temple, and the Tufo Temple became Got its name. This temple has suffered from wars and reconstruction many times in history. Especially in 1971, this thousand-year-old temple was almost destroyed by the "Cultural Revolution". Since 1992, the then presiding master Shi Juehui has been conducting alms from all directions, and with the support and donation of Master Shengyi, a famous Buddhist activist of Hong Kong Po Lin Monastery, it was rebuilt and officially consecrated in 1998.
