Introduction to the Reclining Buddha of the Great Buddha Temple: The Nirvana statue of Sakyamuni in the main hall of the Great Buddha Temple is the largest indoor clay sculpture of the Reclining Buddha in the country. It is 34.5 meters long and 7.5 meters wide at the shoulders. It is a clay sculpture with a wooden body and is painted with gold. The statue is exquisite. The proportions are coordinated, the lines are smooth, the expression is natural, the appearance is peaceful, and lifelike. There are two standing statues of Upasika and Upasaka on both sides of the Buddha statue, and on the back are the mourning statues of the ten disciples.
