Introduction to the Great Buddha Temple: The Great Buddha Temple was built in the first year of Yong'an of Chongzong of the Western Xia Dynasty (1098 AD). It has been more than 900 years ago. Historically, it has been called "Kasyapa Tathagata Temple", "Baojue Temple", " Hongren Temple" and so on. Because there is a famous indoor large reclining Buddha in the temple, people call it "Reclining Buddha Temple" or "Big Buddha Temple".
There are archway-style mountain gates and four heavenly king halls, Guan ancestral halls, Guo halls, side halls, wing rooms, and the main hall of the reclining Buddha in the Great Buddha Temple. To the south of the main hall is the Induction Temple, to the north is the Golden Pagoda Hall, and at the back are the Sutra Pavilion and the Earthen Pagoda.
