Introduction to the Big Buddha Grotto: 30 meters high, 19 meters wide and 6 meters deep. There is a large statue of Sakyamuni in the cave, 28 meters high and 10 meters wide. It stands facing the water, with its right arm stretched forward and pointing forward, sitting majestically. On both sides of Sakyamuni there are six statues of Manjushri, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Guangmu, Duowen, Kasyapa and Ananda, with vivid shapes and majestic expressions. There are large murals on the north and south walls of the cave. The upper part of the south wall is a blue dragon with cloud patterns; the middle part is an elephant sika deer with a smoky scroll on its back; the lower part is a tiger, trees and flowers. The upper part of the north wall is painted with a blue dragon and two tigers, the middle part is painted with a white horse, a black tiger, and a bodhi tree, with shining scriptures on the horse's back; the lower part is painted with peonies. The entire mural has fresh brushstrokes, bright colors, and realistic images.
