Introduction to the General’s Office: The General’s Office is commonly known as Dayamen. It was the administrative office of the third-ranking general in the Qing Dynasty. The street in front of the Yamen is more than 1,000 meters long, running through the east and west of the ancient city, and is called Dayamen Street. In ancient times, the general commanded 600 troops and was responsible for the engineering protection and water transportation security of the 220-mile canal. In January 1937, the National Government established the Taierzhuang Branch of the Shandong Yixian Police Department here; in early 1938, he became the deputy commander of the 3rd Group Army Shen Honglie The arsenal played a role in the Taierzhuang War; today it is used as the "Taierzhuang Ancient City Reconstruction Museum".
