Introduction to Badaguan: Badaguan is one of the first batch of famous historical and cultural streets in China and one of the main scenic spots in Qingdao. It is located on the seaside of Shinan District of the city, bounded by the First Bathing Beach in the west and the Third Beach in the east. The area includes more than 8 streets named after "Guan", which are filled with numerous European classical buildings. A few were built during the German rule (1897-1914), and most were built in the 1930s. This place is very different from the usual Chinese cities. There are large lawns everywhere and few pedestrians. Many of the residents in this area are retired party, government and military officials.
