Museum introduction: The Chinese Naval Museum was officially opened to the public on October 1, 1989. It is a large-scale professional military museum organized and built by the Chinese Navy. The museum is adjacent to Qingdao Lu Xun Park to the east, Xiao Qingdao Park to the west, just across the water, to the south to the sea, and to the north to the trestle across the water. The seafront was originally the berthing place for small ships of the Navy stationed in Qingdao.
