Introduction to the Meng Mansion Hall: The Meng Mansion Hall is located in the Yimen Courtyard. It is the place where the hereditary Doctors of the Five Classics of the Hanlin Academy, direct descendants of Mencius, read imperial edicts, received officials, issued clan regulations and family laws, and handled official affairs. The lobby of Meng's Mansion is tall and spacious, with a plaque of "Seven Chapters Yiju" hanging in the middle under the eaves in front of the hall.
