Introduction to Zimu Spring: Zimu Spring is actually a hanging waterfall. It is commonly known as a spring because the water flows out from the cracks in the rocks. Some people also call it "Water Curtain Cave". The waterfall is divided into two streams because of the huge rocks. The larger water flow on the left side is like a mother spring, and the smaller water flow on the right side is like a child spring. Normally, only the Zi Spring flows all year round. When the rain is heavy, both the Mother and Zi Spring pour down, forming overlapping waterfalls with the waterfall above that is looming in the gaps between the trees.
Legend has it that a long time ago, there was no rain for a long time under Lianhua Mountain, and the rivers and wells were dry. An orphan and a widowed mother went up the mountain to search for water. They found dripping water overflowing from the cracks in the mountain. They were overjoyed. Just as they were about to drink water, a hidden The green dragon rose up in anger and cast magic, trapping the mother and son in the crack. After Guanyin knew about it, he manifested it in time. He picked up a stone and gently put it into the crack, which opened up the space and saved the mother and son. Then he used his jade finger to dip a drop of nectar from the pure bottle and flicked it, causing the water droplets here to change. In a trickle, the thirsty mother and son finally drank the life-saving water. The mischievous green dragon was tamed by Guanyin at the bottom of the Qinglong Pond at the foot of the mountain, and was responsible for the seventy-two flower rains in Lianhua Mountain.
