Introduction to the caisson: The caisson on the top of the Longshan Temple stage was built in the 11th year of Daoguang reign. It is the earliest preserved caisson work in Taiwan. It is composed of sixteen groups of brackets connected by mortise and tenon. The structure is very exquisite. In addition to the function of expanding the space, the caisson also has a resonance effect during acting, which is very practical.
