Flying fish introduction: At the corner of the Shouliang and the pillars under the Bagua cao well in Sanchuan Hall, there are four flying fish. They are shaped like dragon heads and fish tails. They are good at spitting water. They are decorated on buildings and have the metaphor of fire prevention. Literati regarded the shape of the dragon's head and fish's tail as a turtle, which had the connotation of being the best in the imperial examination. Because the dragon body carving has wings, the craftsmen in Lukang called it flying fish.
