Introduction to Bohai Mengxiu: The plaque "Bohai Mengxiu" was written by Wang Lanpei, a fellow magistrate of Lugang Lifan in the 10th year of Daoguang's reign (1830). "Bohai" refers to the Taiwan Strait. In the early years, our ancestors crossed the sea from the mainland to Taiwan. After passing through the dangerous Heishui Gorge (Taiwan Strait), the ancestors were blessed by Mazu and arrived in Taiwan safely, and their belief in Mazu became even more devout. In addition, located in the Sanchuan Hall, there are several plaques dedicated to Thean Hou Temple in Lukang by the Qing Dynasty officials, which are precious documentary assets of Thean Hou Temple.
