Introduction to the main building of the Zen Yuan: The main building of the Zen Yuan is 136 meters high, making it the largest and tallest Buddhist temple in the world and in Taiwan. It is also the second tallest oriental Buddhist building in the world (after Tianning Pagoda). After its completion, it won the 2002 Taiwan Architecture Award, the 2003 International Lighting Design Award and other awards.
