The Beiyuan is shaped like the five petals of plum blossoms, the provincial flower of Taiwan. The atrium plaza itself is made of granite slabs arranged in gradient concentric circles to highlight the idea that all people are united and care about Taiwan. The outer ring is equipped with a circular pool, viewing platform and curved seats for employees to rest.
