Introduction to Zixia Cave: It is said that Wang Xiyi once practiced here, and wrote: "Under the Culai Mountain is my home. I breathe in the dew and the wind and lie down in Zixia. I have nothing to do for hundreds of years. I sit facing the old pine flowers every day." verse. Wang Xiyi, a hermit in the Tang Dynasty and a doctor of the Imperial College, was received by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty who came to Mount Tai to enshrine Zen when he was 96 years old. Because he lived in seclusion in Cuilai Mountain for a long time, he was known as the "Wang Yeren". There is a mountain spring and reeds in front of the cave. At sunset, the sun just shines into the cave entrance. When the weather is clear after rain, the water vapor refracts the sunlight and forms a rainbow in front of the cave. From a distance, it looks like colorful clouds shooting out of the cave, hence the name Zixia Cave. This scene is located in the west of Taipingding.
