Introduction to the former site of the Cross-River Campaign Headquarters of the Third Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army: The former site of the birthplace of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy is in Baima Temple, Taizhou City. There used to be a landlord's manor here. When the Chinese People's Liberation Army was preparing to cross the river in 1949, the Eastern Front Headquarters of the Cross-River Campaign was located here. On April 23, 1949, the East China Navy, the first navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, was established here. On February 17, 1989, the Central Military Commission officially decided that the White Horse Temple in Taizhou would be the birthplace of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy.
