Introduction to Heding Orchid: Heding Orchid has an oval-conical pseudobulb, 4-6 leaves, closely alternate on the upper part of the pseudobulb, usually with yellow patches, oblong or oval-lanceolate, Scapes arise from the base of the pseudobulb or the nodes above the base, 1–2, upright, stout, cylindrical or more or less flat cylindrical, not higher than the leaf layer, unbranched or occasionally branched at the base, Hairless, with several sparse membranous sheaths about 3 cm long; racemes up to 20 cm long, with several to 20 flowers, flowering period from April to October, native to Fujian, Taiwan, northern Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hong Kong, Hainan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan, and southeastern Tibet. It grows in shady and moist places under forest on hillside at an altitude of 300-2500 meters.
